This recently created area will allow the Consulate to follow up relevant issues about political matters as well as strength the contact with social stakeholders and organizations.

The main goal is to develop actions with a comprehensive approach and articulated with the other areas of the Consulate in order to attend the different requests in response to the needs and demands within the consular jurisdiction based in the dynamic in Arizona.

This department is responsible of the following:

• As part of the Consul’s Office, follows meetings with local authorities keeping contact and coordination in topics of mutual interest.
  
  
• Promotes strategic projects and relations in order to enhance an active and permanent dialogue with local actors such as social organizations, local authorities, business groups, etc.
  
  
• Supports the other Consulate’s Departments in developing certain strategic programs with a integral scope.
  
  
• Takes actions in relevant issues for the Mexican community in this region of the US, that allowed to the Consulate an active participation.
