According to a study by the American Chamber of Commerce, Mexico is the main Arizona’s exports destination, ranging from computers and electronic parts for agricultural and mining products.

This Consulate maintains contact with successful Mexican businessmen, identified as community leaders in order to develop trade relations with Mexico.

In this context, this area keeps a close relationship with organizations as: Sister Cities Committee, Tucson-MexicoTrade Office in Tucson, Mexico, the Greater Tucson Economic Council, the Chambers of Commerce of Pima and Pinal counties as well as the Chamber of Business and Arizona Hispanic professionals (CEPH) and the Office of National Law Center for Interamerican Free Trade, through which they coordinate events to promote trade and investment.

The Consulate provides support to Mexican companies interested in promoting their products and services in Tucson and serves as liaison between U.S. organizations, both private and public, with those of Mexican origin.
