PROGRAMA DE INTERCAMBIO DE MAESTROS
MÉXICO-ESTADOS UNIDOS 2026
El Gobierno Federal de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, a través de la Secretaría de Educación Pública y la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores, en coordinación con el Programa Binacional de Educación Migrante México-Estados Unidos (PROBEM), con base en el Anexo X del Memorándum de Entendimiento sobre Educación entre los Gobiernos de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y de los Estados Unidos de América, convocan a las autoridades educativas estatales de México y de Estados Unidos a presentar candidaturas de docentes para participar en el “PROGRAMA DE INTERCAMBIO DE MAESTROS MÉXICO-ESTADOS UNIDOS 2026”, en lo sucesivo “EL PROGRAMA”.
Objetivo
Que los docentes/maestros viajen a alguno de los estados participantes de la Unión Americana, para tener una estancia por un periodo de tres a ocho semanas, dependiendo de las necesidades del Distrito Escolar estadounidense solicitante, durante el verano o el ciclo escolar. Del mismo modo bajo un principio de reciprocidad, profesores estadounidenses visitarán durante una o dos semanas escuelas cuyasentidades federativas hayan enviado maestros al intercambio.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS
U.S. – MEXICO TEACHER EXCHANGE PROGRAM 2026
The Federal Government of the United Mexican States, through the Ministry of Public Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the United States-Mexico Binational Migrant Education Program (PROBEM), based on Annex X of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Mexico, invite state educational authorities in Mexico and the United States to submit teacher’s nominations to participate in the " MEXICO – UNITED STATES TEACHER EXCHANGE PROGRAM 2026", hereinafter "THE PROGRAM".
Objective
Mexican teachers will travel to one of the participating states of the United States
for a period of three to eight weeks, depending on the needs of the requesting
U.S. School District, during the summer or school year calendar. Similarly, under
a principle of reciprocity, U.S. teachers will visit for one- or two-weeks schools
whose states have sent teachers to their states.
