Be it our language, our films, our cuisine, art, music, the commemoration of our dead or any of the dozens of cultural expressions through which you can recognize Mexico, we are proud to share the richness of our heritage.

The Consulate of Mexico is honored to host, organize, co-sponsor and join in a variety of cultural activities throughout the year that convey the impact of Mexican culture to our friends in the United States.

There are a number of traditions already in place: to share rosca de reyes with families in Boston in January, celebrate 5 de mayo and the commemoration of Mexico’s independence in September with our community and local authorities, and celebrate the memory of our loved ones for the Day of the Dead in November.

We hope to continue celebrating Mexico with you. If you wish to receive our monthly newsletter for Mexico-related cultural events, please send an email to: Esta dirección de correo electrónico está siendo protegida contra los robots de spam. Necesita tener JavaScript habilitado para poder verlo.

During 2023, we have received the visit of Mexico’s Navy training tall ship Cuauhtémoc; celebrated 5 de Mayo with the Downtown Boston Business District in a colorful musical celebration; joined in the presentation of writer and academic Pedro Ángel Palou’s most recent novel, “Mexico”, a breathtaking history of our capital city.

We’re planning for more activities for the second half of the year: come back to check for our latest updates!
