Visitor Visa without permission to carry out paid activities (Electronic or virtual)

Case in which it occurs:

Applicable to foreigners of nationalities that the immigration authority allows to process and obtain the visa by electronic means, who intend to travel to Mexico by air to enter the condition of stay of Visitor without permission to carry out paid activities.

Requirements:

I. Fill out the electronic visa application on the website of the Institute or the SRE.     

II. Have a passport or identity and travel document that is valid in accordance with international and current law that proves having a nationality to which the Government of Mexico allows to obtain the electronic visa, and    

III. Travel to Mexico by air.    

Issuance criteria:

- It is granted exclusively to foreigners of nationalities that the Mexican government authorizes to process and obtain the visa by electronic means, who intend to travel to Mexico by air to enter the condition of stay of Visitor without permission to carry out paid activities .      

- The data registered in the application must be correct, true and coincide with the passport.      

Important information for the user:

- The SRE and the Institute will make known through their electronic pages, the nationalities that are allowed to process and obtain the electronic visa.      

- The electronic visa is not valid to travel by land or sea.      

- The applicant must verify that the airline for which he intends to travel to Mexico accepts the electronic visa. If the airline does not accept the e-visa, you will not be allowed to board.      

- In the electronic visa application, the applicant must provide their biographical data as they appear in the passport, as well as their travel information. The applicant who is denied the electronic visa may go to the consular office to submit the visa application process.      

- In case of authorization, the foreign person must print their electronic visa and make sure that the electronic visa data matches the biographical data indicated in the passport. In the event of an inconsistency, you will not be allowed to board the flight or enter Mexico.      

- The electronic visa is valid for 180 days and a single entry by air. In the immigration review filter, the foreign person must present a passport or identity and travel document that is valid in accordance with international and current law, the electronic visa and the duly filled FMM. The immigration authority will verify the electronic visa and decide on the admission of the foreign person to national territory.      

- Foreigners are obliged to provide the information and personal data that are requested by the competent authority within the scope of its powers.      

- The length of stay allowed in the national territory will be determined by the immigration authority at the point of admission.
