The one provided for in Article 22 of the Federal Law on Rights, except in cases where there is an agreement or unilateral declaration of a free visa. In cooperation with the Institute, the consular offices will collect the right provided in Article 8, section II, of the Federal Law on Rights, for the issuance of the immigration document that certifies the condition of stay of a visitor with permission to carry out paid activities. The consular offices will collect the fees in the currency of the country authorized by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. |

Exceptions to Article 15-A of the Federal Law of Administrative Procedure: |
Those indicated in sections III and V of the requirements section. |
Requirements: I. Visa application. II. Copy of the authorization of the Institute to attend a consular interview. III. Original and legible copy of the passport or identity and travel document that is valid in accordance with international and current law. IV. A photograph with the face visible and without glasses, in color, passport size, whose measurements must be at least 32.0 millimeters x 26 millimeters and a maximum of 39.0 millimeters x 31.0 millimeters, with a white background and front. V. Original and copy of the document that proves their legal stay, if the foreign person is not a national of the country where the visa is requested. SAW. Payment of rights for the issuance of visa and, in case of issuing the visitor visa with permission to carry out remunerated activities, payment of rights provided for in Article 8 section II of the Federal Law of Rights, and VII. Carry out the consular interview. |

Resolution criteria: - The issuance of the visa is subject to the result of the consular interview. - The consular interview must be carried out within 12 business days after the one in which the foreign person manages the appointment, in said interview the foreign person must present the required documentation. - In the event that the applicant does not comply with the applicable requirements, the consular office must request the reconsideration of the authorization to the Institute within 5 business days following the one in which the corresponding interview was carried out and thus must inform the person foreign applicant. - The Institute will proceed to analyze the interview report and determine what is conducive within a period of no more than 7 business days in terms of Article 41 of the Law. - The visa will be issued exclusively when the Institute issues the final resolution to that reconsideration and it has been officially communicated to the consular office. - The resolution of the Institute will be final and will exempt consular officials from any responsibility. - In the appropriate cases, and previous collection of fees, the consular office will issue the corresponding visa. |
Important information for the user: - Once they have the Institute's resolution, the foreign person must make contact, through the established channels, with the consular office where they would obtain the visa and request an appointment for a consular interview in order to continue with the process. The authorization will be valid for 30 business days, at the end of which it will expire and the foreign person will not be able to continue with the visa process at the consular office. - The promoter must ensure that the data identifying the foreign person is correct. Otherwise, when the foreign visa applicant goes to a consular office and the biographical data is incorrect, the latter will cancel the process and it will be the responsibility of the applicant to submit a new application to the Institute. - In the event that the consular interview is not favorable, the procedure will be subject to reconsideration by the Institute. - Foreigners are obliged to provide the information and personal data that are requested by the competent authority within the scope of its powers. - The visa applicant must take into consideration that once the process has started at the consular office of their choice, it must be concluded there. - The visa may be used exclusively during the period of validity, which begins with the date of its issuance and for the number of entries indicated. - In places destined for the international transit of people by land, sea and air, the foreign person must present the passport or identity and travel document that is valid in accordance with international law and in force with a visa, and deliver the FMM to the immigration authority properly filled out. - For foreign persons holding the visitor visa without permission to carry out paid activities or the visitor visa with permission to carry out paid activities, the length of stay allowed in the national territory will be determined by the immigration authority at the point of admission and not it may be longer than 180 days. - The foreign person with a temporary resident visa or permanent resident visa must process within the next 30 calendar days from their entry into the national territory, the residence card that proves their legal stay and allows them to remain in the national territory. |
