In the event that a Mexican national has died in USA, based on the foreign Death Certificate, their relatives may submit a request to Consulate for a registry of a Mexican Death Certificate.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Foreign death certificate and two simple copies
2. Proof of the deceased Mexican nationality: and two simple copies
   
   1. Mexican birth certificate;
   2. Mexican passport;
   3. Mexican nationality certificate;
   4. Matricula consular.
3. Family member valid ID. and two simple copies
4. Two witnesses with valid ID. and two simple copies of each.

The registration is free. However, if you want one or more certified copies of the Mexican Death Certificate.
