The Consulate of Mexico in Las Vegas and The Immigrant Home Foundation invites you to participate in the IME Becas 2022 Scholarships Program.
This program aims to directly support Mexican, Mexican-American and Hispanic students in Nevada in their academic education in two classifications:

·Adult Education
·Higher Education
Key points:
- The announcement will be open from June 1st 2022 to July 15th 2022. The applications received outside of the mentioned time frame will not be taken into consideration.
- In order to be considered, all applications must be complete and individually filled out. Please review the information below about the requirements for each application.
- All applicants must live and attend school in the state of Nevada.
- The scholarships will be granted directly to students.
- Education institutions or non-profit organizations cannot request funds in this program’s edition.
- The students will be selected based on the IME Becas 2022 Local Committee judgement, taking into consideration their economic needs, academic background and possible access to other funding sources, among other elements.
- The results will be published on August 10th 2022, on the Consulate of Mexico in Las Vegas webpage: https://consulmex.sre.gob.mx/lasvegas/
ADULT EDUCATION
Scholarship amount per student: maximum $500 dollars (USD).
Requirements:
· Complete the following application online or download it and turn it in printed out at the Consulate of Mexico in Las Vegas (823 S 6th St, Las Vegas, NV 89101) before July 15th 2022.

· Proof of financial needs.
· Proof of address.
· Proof of nationality document and a valid photo ID:
o Birth certificate.
o Passport, consular ID, driver’s license or official ID.
· Proof of enrollment to the course, program or exam.
· If you are part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program, provide proof of being beneficiary.
HIGHER EDUCATION
Scholarship amount per student: maximum $2,500 United States dollars (USD).
Requirements:
· Complete the following application online or download it and turn it in printed out at the Consulate of Mexico in Las Vegas (823 S 6th St, Las Vegas, NV 89101) before July 15th 2022.

· Proof of financial needs.
· Proof of address.
· Proof of nationality document and a valid photo ID:
o Birth certificate.
o Passport, consular ID, driver’s license or official ID.
· Be an active High School student and have been accepted for Higher Education studies (college, university or technical careers); or be currently enrolled in Higher Education studies.
· Have a GPA higher than 2.5 in the previous period of studies and provide one of the following documents that certifies it:
o Letter from an authority of your school, on official school letterhead.
o Copy of your last report card.
o School transcripts.
· If you are part of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Program, provide proof of being beneficiary.
