A Message from Our CEO

Over the past few weeks, the world has faced unprecedented challenges amidst the COVID-19 crisis. Our hearts and thoughts are with those affected across the region and around the world.

I wanted to share an update on the procedures in place at CBX during this time of uncertainty. CBX is a lawful border crossing operated in accordance with federal policies and procedures of the United States and Mexico. In an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the U.S. will temporarily restrict all non-essential travel across their borders, including CBX. “Non-essential” travel includes travel that is considered tourism or recreational in nature. For more information on U.S. Temporary Travel Restrictions, click here.

At this time, there are no restrictions for passengers traveling to Mexico through CBX. However, all passengers traveling southbound through CBX will be required to complete a questionnaire and undergo temperature screenings conducted by Mexican health authorities upon arrival to the Mexican Immigration processing area. We also continue to reinforce the enhanced sanitary measures implemented to protect the health of our employees and customers. I urge everyone with upcoming travel to review our website and contact your flight carrier directly with any questions on the status of your flight.

Our commitment to the safety of our passengers, guests and staff will remain our top priority. Thank you for your ongoing support and trust. We will be providing updates on our website and across our social networks. I am certain that together we can overcome this health crisis and become even stronger as a comunity. Stay healthy and safe - we look forward to welcoming you to travel with Cross Border Xpress again very soon!

Sincerely,

Jorge Goytortúa

Chief Executive Officer
