  • Lawful permanent residents and citizen from USA, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or any of the countries of the Schengen Area.

  • Holders any kind of Valid Visa USA, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or any of the countries of the Schengen Area

  • For Countries and regions that do not require a visa to travel to Mexico please look into National Migration Institute

In the immigration review filter, they must present:

  • VALID Passport or valid identity and travel document that is valid in accordance with international law.

  • VALID visa o VALID green card from one of the countries mentioned above. (Letters extending the validity of residency cards or immigration status or single-entry visas will not be accepted. If this were the case, you would have to apply for a consular visa)

  • FMM stamped on arrival (by air)

I WILL BE TRAVELING TO MEXICO IN A CRUISE SHIP. DO I NEED A VISA?

Visitors who travel on cruise ships that disembark at any Mexican port to visit the port and surrounding zones and embark on the same ship to continue their voyage, DO NOT require a visa.

They have a collective permission for a period of 21 days.

The passenger must carry a valid and not expired passport or travel document.

If your work visa application has already been authorized and you have your AUTHORIZATION LETTER (NUT), you could request an appointment for a visa interview.

You must submit the following documents:

  1. Appointment confirmed printed.

  2. Passport valid, original and one copy (sheets available for visa stamping).

  3. RECENT front photograph passport size with visible face without glasses, color printed, passport size with white background. No earrings, no piercings.

  4. INAMI authorization letter with NUT number.

  5. Proof of legal status in the United States original and copy (visa, I-94, ESTA PRINTED in English or Spanish) No apply for Americans.

  6. Pay the appropriate Consular Fees $53.00 U.S dollars. Payment in this office exactly cash or card.

PRIOR TO SCHEDULING YOUR APPOINTMENT FOR THE CONSULAR INTERVIEW, YOU SHOULD TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THAT THIS WILL BE CARRIED OUT IN SPANISH OR IN A THIRD LANGUAGE UNDERSTANDABLE FOR BOTH PARTIES.

  • If you are student, school letter and official transcripts will be required. Form I-20 must have a valid travel endorsement.

  • If you are student/OPT, form I-20, valid travel endorsement, employment authorization card and letter from your employer is required

  • If you are a legal resident of the USA and your resident card has expired, you must present the expired card and a letter of extension of validity.

  1. Proof economic solvency.

    *Bank statements, savings or checking accounts of the last 3 months with a minimum ending balance of $4,500.00 USD per each month under applicant name, no joint account.

    *Or, prove financial solvency through work income. Original and copy of the documents that demonstrate that you have employment or pension with monthly income greater than the equivalent of $1500.00 USD (one hundred days of the general minimum wage in force in the Federal District), during the last three months and ORIGINAL proof of employment stable with a minimum age of one year.

    • Submit check stubs for the last three months.

    • Original letter from your employer on letterhead with autograph signature.

    • Bank account statements in your name reflecting the deposit of your payroll payment. (Last three months)

  2. Pay at this office $53.00 USD visa no refundable fee. Exactly change or card are accepted

Tourist visas are authorized in strict compliance with the requirements stipulated in the current Migration Law and based on a satisfactory consular interview.

The authorization to enter the country and the temporarily of the stay allowed in Mexican territory will be determined by the immigration authority at the point of internment
