“FROM AN IDEA TO THE SCREEN”, FIRST MEETING OF FILM CREATORS IN SOUTH FLORIDA
- There will be an artistic exhibition at the Cultural Institute of Mexico in Miami located at
2555 Ponce de León, 5th floor in Coral Gables.
The Consulate General of Mexico in Miami, in collaboration with the consular representations of Argentina and Spain, will present the “First Meeting of Film Creators.” This initiative aims to foster the cooperation and cultural exchange between Spanish-speaking film creators in the region and promote the cultural diversity and richness of Latin cinema in the United States.
The event will take place from May 28 to June 11, 2024, at various venues throughout Miami. During this period, outstanding films will be screened, round tables will be held with film experts, and workshops and master classes will be held with the participation of Juan José Campanella, Carlos Cuarón, Mateo Curaron, Kennet O'Brian, Cristian Proa, Dario Feal, Vidal Cantú, Jorge Dyszel, Fernando Arciniega, María Inez Perazo, Juan Antonio Casado, Cathy Álvarez, Constanza Espejo, Queca Gordillo, Carolina Laursen, Nuria Ferrer and Roberto Pazos, among others.
