Program 3x1
The Program 3x1 for migrants supports the initiatives of Mexicans living abroad and provides them with an opportunity to channel funds for the social benefit of their communities in Mexico. The program works with the contributions of the clubs or federations of migrants living abroad, those of the Federal Government (through SEDESOL) and with the contributions of the State and Local Governments. For each peso that the Club or Federation gives, the Federal, State and Local Governments contribute with one peso. That is why it is called Program 3x1.
Some of the states that take part in the program are Aguascalientes; Edo. de México; Guanajuato; Guerrero; Hidalgo; Jalisco; Michoacán; Nuevo León; Querétaro; San Luis Potosí.
