• The Governments of the United States and Mexico advise that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) reopened northbound primary inspection lanes 2 – 8 at the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials will have the ability to staff and operate all northbound lanes beginning at 8:00 A.M. Notwithstanding, during the upcoming weeks, there will continue to be intermittent, short term lane closures (1 - 3 lanes at a time) to complete final lane work. Users are advised to monitor posted signs and continue to use available lanes. With this reopening, the port now has 25 lanes with 46 northbound inspection booths in operation.

• Los Gobiernos de México y Estados Unidos informan que el miércoles 17 de septiembre 2014, la Administración de Servicios Generales de EUA (GSA por sus siglas en inglés) reabrió los carriles 2-8 de inspección primaria en sentido sur-norte en el Puerto de entrada San Ysidro. La Oficina de Aduanas y Protección Fronteriza (CBP por sus siglas en inglés) contará con personal para operar todas las líneas sur-norte a partir de las 8:00 a.m. No obstante, durante las siguientes semanas, se cerrarán carriles de manera intermitente (de 1 a 3 carriles de manera simultánea) a fin de concluir los trabajos faltantes. Se recomienda a los usuarios prestar atención a las señalizaciones y utilizar los carriles disponibles. Con esta reapertura, el Puerto contará ahora con 25 líneas y 46 casetas de inspección primaria sur-norte.
