Financial Education Window Financial Advisory Desk (Ventanilla de Asesoría Financiera)
The Consulate General of Mexico seeks to support the Mexican community by providing information that enables them to make better financial decisions and protect their assets, whether they decide to remain in the United States or return to Mexico.
Since April 2017, we have offered a Financial Advisory Desk, which provides free and personalized assistance to help you organize your finances.
At the Financial Advisory Desk you can receive guidance on:
- How to save money
- Reducing your debts
- Improving your credit score
- Managing a budget (income and expenses)
- Starting and growing your small business
- Obtaining life insurance, car insurance, final expense insurance, disability insurance, etc.
We also provide information about:
- Opening bank accounts in San Diego or in Mexico
- Buying or building a home in Mexico
- Managing retirement accounts and/or Afore accounts
- Recovering bank accounts in Mexico
