HEALTH WINDOW / HEALTH DESK (Ventanilla de Salud)
The Ventanilla de Salud aims to facilitate access to available health services in the San Diego area for the Mexican and Latino community, especially for those who do not have health insurance. It also promotes prevention and health education initiatives.

Binational Health Week
This project began in 2001 in California and by 2005 had expanded to all Mexican Consulates in the United States and Canada. Since then, the Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego has actively participated in this event.
Binational Health Week is held annually in the month of October. It consists of health fairs, vaccination drives, and other awareness and prevention events focused on the Hispanic community in this consular district.
