CERTIFICATE UPON REQUEST OF THE INTERESTED PARTY (Certificado a Petición de Parte)

The Certificate upon Request of the Interested Party is the consular document issued at the request of the interested person, in order to attest to a fact or prove a right. It has legal validity and full faith and credit before any Mexican authority.

With this Certificate “it is only proven that statements or declarations were made before this Consulate General and are recorded in the document, but it does not prove the truth of what was declared or stated. The certificate records the identity and nationality of the applicant and the documents presented by the interested party to prove their right or fact; however, it does not prove the truth of what was declared or manifested.” (Art. 202 of the Federal Code of Civil Procedures).
