TEMPORARY RESIDENT (PENSION, INVESTMENTS OR SALARY)

2. Valid book passport (original and copy of the first, last and all pages that have visas or stamps).
3. If you are not a United States citizen, you must bring your U.S. alien permanent resident card (green card) or a U.S. valid visa (original and one copy).
4. One passport sized photo (minimum of 32.0 mm x 26.0 mm and a maximum of 39.0 mm x 31.0 mm). Front view, white background, recent and without glasses. It must be printed on matte or glossy photo quality paper.
5. Documents proving your economic solvency, listed below are your options:
a) Last six bank statements where you receive any kind of pension or salary with a monthly average minimum of $2,068.00 (the complete official statement month by month, with full name and address – NO P.O. Box) *Please present a letter from your employer, with the following information, if you will apply with your salary:
-Full legal name of company and of the applicant
-Labor seniority
-Position or job title and responsibilities
-It must clearly say that the job is remotely
Name, signature and a copy of an official ID of the person signing the letter
b) Last twelve months statements of your investments with a minimum balance of $34,460.00 (the complete official statement month by month, with full name and address – NO P.O. Box).
c) If you are or have an economic dependent, (immediate family members) the minimum income required is the equivalent of 25% additional per month for each member.
If the documents are not from the United States, please bring them apostilled or legalized and translated to Spanish by an official translator.
Note: In addition to this, we request a typed letter directed to the Mexican Consulate in San Diego with your full name, your address outside of Mexico, your address in Mexico, phone number and motive of your trip.
Important Information
- The displaying of the documents does not guarantee the visa approval/issuance. As the visa itself, does not guarantee the admission to Mexican territory. The admission to Mexico is subject to approval by the immigration authorities in the position intended for international movement of people.
- The day of your appointment, please make sure to bring all the requirements and copies. Note: additional paperwork may be asked for in certain cases.
- For your convenience, if you do not speak English and/or Spanish you must be accompanied by an interpreter.
- Please respect the social distance measures of 6 feet or 1.8 meters between each person
- Your punctuality will be appreciated. Due to the number of people allowed in the building, if you are late you will lose your appointment.
- Application processing fee $44.00 US dollars.

5. Please present the following required documentation:
a) The deed of sale or purchasing contract of the Mexican legal entity granted before an Authorized Notary Public, in which it is established that the foreign person is participating in the shareholder equity of the Mexican legal entity, and that the amount of the investment actually disbursed in said entity exceeds $ 137,840.00 U.S. dollars, this may be accredited, by way of a contract for the sale of shares or common shares, a contract for the transfer of goods or rights in favor of the Mexican legal entity or a document issued by the latter that accredits the amount contributed by way of participation in the shareholder equity, in original and copy; or
b). Documentation that recognizes the development of economic or business activities in Mexico, which may be accredited with contracts, service orders, invoices, receipts, business plans, licenses or permits, or proof issued by the Mexican Institute of Social Security that certifies that the foreign legal entity is the employer of at least three workers, in original and copy.
