This type of visa is for foreign visitors who intend to enter and remain in Mexico as temporary residents for a period greater than 180 days and less than 4 years.
You are traveling for retirement, investments, professional activities, technical activities, artistic activities, scientific activities, and sport activities or as a minister of religion.
You do not have a work authorization.

b) Original and a copy of documents showing income for job or pension that yields a monthly income of $500.00 US dollars after taxes during the previous 6 months.

   o  Contact information of the person responsible to confirm the information contained in the letter.
• Proof of sufficient funds to cover the tuition and living expenses during you stay in Mexico (last three months of bank statements, checking, savings or investments, official scholarships or financial aid). The applicant can present financial documentation of the parents (if under 25 years old) to cover the expenses or proof of scholarship
• Minor (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by both parents (legal guardian) and submit original birth certificate and one photocopy or original legal documents of proof of guardianship. If only one parent is present at the time of submitting the application there must be an original notarized authorization from the absent parent and a copy of both sides of their valid official ID.
