Visas to Mexico

Welcome to the Visa Section of the Consulate of Mexico in Seattle.

The main goal of this information is to facilitate the understanding of immigration procedures and simplify the filling of the documents required to process your visas.

Important Notice

The process to schedule an appointment has changed:

  • If you wish to book an appointment for March 2025, send an email to visas.seattle@sre.gob.mx from February 22 to February 28, indicating the type of visa you would like to apply for and preferred date and time.
  • If you wish to book an appointment for April 2025, send an email to visas.seattle@sre.gob.mx from March 25 to March 31, indicating the type of visa you would like to apply for and preferred date and time.

Appointments will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. There will not be a waiting list.

  • We will contact you on March 3 and April 1 respectively, to let you know the date of your appointment.
  • If we do not contact you, please send an email to obtain an appointment in the next indicated period.

This will not affect previously scheduled appointments.

We will accept applications out of this time frame only for visa applications by:
  • Family unit
  • Employment offers
  • Academic reasons
  • Alaska residents
