On March 8, the Governor of the Mexican state of Durango, José Rosas Aispuro Torres, made a working visit to Toronto, where he held meetings with mining executives, participated in the opening of the Mexico stand at the PDAC Convention, and met with Mexican Ambassador to Canada Agustín García López, Consul General of Mexico in Toronto Porfirio Thierry Muñoz Ledo and ProMexico's representative Rodrigo Contreras at the offices of the Consulate General, where they discussed the details of the operation of the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program (SAWP) and the possibility of promoting student exchanges with the state.
