When scheduling your appointment, you will be asked to scan the necessary documents. Once these have been validated, your appointment will be confirmed.

• All applications for dual nationality require an appointment.
• A separate appointment is needed for each child.
• If you also wish to obtain a Mexican passport, you must book an additional appointment under “Pasaporte.”
• Appointments for "Civil Registry Wednesdays" will open the previous Thursday.
This Service Is Free of Charge
PROCESSING TIME AND FEES:
The process takes approximately 2 to 3 hours. The issuance of the first Mexican birth certificate is free; each additional certificate costs $19 USD.

During your appointment, we will review the documents you provide. If all documents are correct, we will proceed with your dual nationality registration. If there are any errors or missing documents, your application will not be processed.
