Household goods for non-Mexicans.
Requirements:
To request a household goods certificate, please send the following documents via email:
- Declaration of Introduction of Household Goods for Non-Mexican Nationals (click here to download). This document must be filled out completely, including the future address in Mexico.
- A signed, computerized list of items (the list should include a detailed description and quantity of items; for electrical equipment, indicate the brand, model, and serial number) that will be imported to Mexico (click here to download).
- A copy of the nationality proof (preferably a passport), as well as that of the spouse if married.
- A copy of the visa for Mexico that allows entry as "permanent resident," "temporary resident," or "temporary student resident."
If the applicant is unable to attend the consulate personally, they can designate an authorized representative who must attach a power of attorney letter (download here) along with the identification of the representative and the witnesses of the submitted documents.
