Do I need a visa to go to Mexico?

You DO NOT require a Mexican visa if you fulfill one of the conditions below:

1. If you are visiting Mexico as tourist, are in transit, for business, for technical activities, as journalist or for studies.

 

2. If the period of your visit is less than 180 days.

 

3. If you will not receive any earnings in Mexico.

I) a valid, multiple entries, visa, regardless of your nationality, issued by Canada, Japan, the United States of America, the United Kingdom or any members of the Schengen Area; or,

II) a valid Permanent Resident card, regardless of your nationality, issued by Canada, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Japan, the United States of America, the United Kingdom or any members of the Schengen Area.

What do I do if none of these conditions apply to me?

 If you do not fulfill any of the conditions mentioned above, then you require a Mexican visa to enter the country.
