Mexican Cultural Institute in Montreal
The Mexican Cultural Institute (MCI) in Montreal opened its doors in 2000, and was named Espacio Mexico until 2016. The Institute is part of the Consulate General of Mexico in Montreal (CGMM), and contributes to strengthen the relationship between Mexico, Montreal, Quebec and Canada.
The Institute aims to promote the most positive portrayal of Mexico and to project, in different ways, a vibrant, creative and competitive image of its nation among the most modern, forefront trends in the world. It features a multidisciplinary room where various activities of the CGMM’s Cultural Promotion Program take place, such as exhibitions, conferences, round-table discussions, workshops, meetings and other events that are organized to strengthen the links and the development of the Mexican and Quebecois communities by sharing ideas and experiences.
The Mexican Cultural Institute in Montreal is also available for other activities as long as they are consistent with the values, development policies and interests that Mexico promotes and upholds in the international arena.
Opening hours to the public: Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 17:00.
