El proyecto Historias Migrantes en Los Ángeles busca reconocer a los migrantes como seres valiosos de la comunidad y, a su vez, contribuir a facilitar el diálogo intergeneracional e intercultural que permita construir una narrativa más positiva sobre los migrantes en Estados Unidos y particularmente en Los Ángeles. |
The project Historias Migrantes en Los Ángeles aims to recognize migrants as valuable members of the community and, in turn, contribute to facilitating an intergenerational and intercultural dialogue that fosters the development of a more positive narrative about migrants in the United States and particularly in Los Angeles.

Como parte del proyecto, iremos publicando una serie de entrevistas breves con migrantes que forman parte de la comunidad angelina. En ellas, los protagonistas nos comparten algunos momentos clave de su experiencia migrante, incluyendo los motivos del viaje y el trayecto, las experiencias de vida como inmigrante y su visualización del futuro. |
As part of the project, we will be publishing a series of brief interviews with migrants who are part of the Angeleno community. In these interviews, the protagonists share some key moments of their migrant experience, including the trip and the journey, their life experiences as immigrants, and their visualization of the future. |

Los que somos inmigrantes creo que venimos para, en primer lugar, hacer algo bueno para nuestras familias, para seguir manteniendo, que no falte el pan, que no falte la tortilla en la mesa familiar. Y otro poquito para ayudar a nuestras familias que dejamos en México. De alguna u otra forma los que nos criaron, los que nos dieron vida, también siempre tenemos que pensar en ellos.
