The Community is informed that as of December 1, 2024, all requests for appointments to obtain a visa to enter MEXICO must be made without exception through the Call Center called "MICONSULADO".
How to schedule an appointment for a Mexican Government Visa at the Mexican Consulate General in Raleigh?
The only ways to schedule an appointment for the visa process (only applicable to foreign citizens who wish to enter Mexico for study, work or to reside temporary or live permanently in Mexican territory):
- By TELEPHONE, by calling the MI CONSULADO Call Center at 1 (424) 309-0009.
- By INTERNET through the page: https://citas.sre.gob.mx/ and select the VISA option.
- By WHATSAPP, by sending a message to MI CONSULADO at 1 (424) 309-0009 and select the VISA option.
Important: The appointment is not synonymous with the fact that this Consulate will grant you the Visa, its issuance is subject to: 1) documentary review, 2) consular interview and 3) full compliance with the requirements established by the Mexican Immigration Law. All requirements to submit the day of the appointment. During your appointment, you will be informed if additional information is required to verify or confirm the veracity or authenticity of your statements/documents during the interview or after reviewing your documentation. The Consulate has the authority to act as Mexican Immigration Authority.
By official disposition, the payment only covers the receipt and study of the application, regardless of whether or not it ends in the expedition or refusal of the visa.
You are responsible for verifying that you meet all the requirements. Applications that do not meet all the requirements are rejected.
Note that this Consulate does not make changes. Appointments are made through an independent Call Center/digital platform, so we cannot schedule appointments or make appointment changes. If you cannot attend your appointment, you will have to schedule a new appointment.

Se informa a la Comunidad que, a partir del 1 de diciembre de 2024, todas las solicitudes de cita para la obtención de una visa para ingresar a MEXICO se deben realizar sin excepción a través del Call Center denominado "MICONSULADO".
¿Cómo programar una cita para obtener una Visa del Gobierno de México en el Consulado General de México en Raleigh?
Las únicas vías para agendar una cita para el trámite de visa (aplica solo para ciudadanos extranjeros que desean ingresar a Mexico por motivos de estudio, trabajo o para residir temporalmente o vivir de manera permanente en territorio mexicano):
- Por TELÉFONO, llamando al Call Center MI CONSULADO al número 1 (424) 309-0009.
- Por INTERNET a través de la página: https://citas.sre.gob.mx/ y seleccionar la opción VISA.
- Por WHATSAPP, enviando un mensaje a MI CONSULADO al número 1 (424) 309-0009 y seleccionar la opción VISA.
Importante: La cita no es sinónimo de que este Consulado le otorgue la visa, su expedición está sujeta a: 1) revisión documental, 2) entrevista consular y 3) cumplimiento de los requisitos que establece la Ley de Migración Mexicana. Durante su cita, se le informará si se requiere información adicional para verificar o confirmar la veracidad o autenticidad de sus declaraciones/documentos presentados en la entrevista o después de revisar su documentación. El Consulado tiene la facultad de actuar como autoridad migratoria mexicana.
Por disposición oficial, el pago sólo cubre la recepción y el estudio de la solicitud, independientemente de que ésta finalice en la expedición o denegación de la visa.
Usted es responsable de verificar que cumple con todos los requisitos. Las solicitudes que no cumplan con todos los requisitos serán rechazadas.
Nota: Tome en cuenta que este Consulado no realiza cambios de cita. Las citas se realizan mediante un Call Center/plataforma informática independiente, por lo que no podemos agendar citas ni hacer cambios de citas. Si usted no puede asistir a tu cita tendrá que programar una nueva cita.
